Day
1 - Fly from Johannesburg to ‘Kruger Gateway
Airport’ Phalaborwa where you will meet your McFarlane
Ranger / Guide who will be your host for the duration of
your stay.
(NOTE:

Enter
the Kruger Park through Phalaborwa gate and enjoy your
first game drive in this magnificent sanctuary on your way
to the camp for check in. After the evening game drive
enjoy dinner and overnight at the camp. OLIFANTS CAMP
Day
2 - Rise before dawn for a day’s game viewing in the
magnificent Kruger National Park – home to the world’s
greatest diversity of wildlife. After the afternoon game
drive and dinner we overnight at Lower Sabie. LOWER

Day
3 - We leave for the early game drive and breakfast before
traveling via the Kruger Park to the Komatipoort border post.
After customs formalities, it’s on to Maputo for a
short city tour then to the airport for your short connecting
flight across Delagoa Bay to Inhaca Island. A swim in the warm
Mozambique waters before sundowners and dinner at the lodge. INHACA

4 - A full day to revel in the island activities –
snorkeling, scuba diving, and deep sea fishing, or a walk
to the Biological Research Institute. Maybe just relaxing
on coconut fringed beaches and the warm ocean? INHACA

5 - A morning to enjoy the island at your leisure
before your connection to Maputo. This evening enjoy and explore this coastal city, it’s
cultures and seafood! ROVUMA

6 - After
breakfast, we travel back to the border, then via the sub
tropical fruit areas and the Crocodile River Valley, of
the Eastern ‘Lowveld’ to Nelspruit for your return

walking safari in Big 5 country combined with a visit to the
Blyde River Canyon, a safari in Kruger and 2 nights on Inhaca

Day 1
– Friday: Travel on the Transfrontiers shuttle from
Johannesburg
to the bush pub meeting point where you will be introduced to
your experienced ranger, your host for the next 3 nights.
Travel t the tented camp for orientation and your first night
in the African Bush. O/N TENTED CAMP (FB)

Day 2 – Saturday: Your daily trail activities
begin in the early hours with coffee and rusks and a walk
under the guidance of your experienced armed ranger. After
breakfast, cooked by your ranger, its time to relax in the
heat of the day before the evening game walk or possible
drive before dinner and overnight. O/N TENTED CAMP (FB)
Day 3 – Sunday: Same as per day 2. O/N

Day 4 – Monday: After the mornings activities
you will meet your McFarlane Safaris ranger / guide and
spend the afternoon traveling South via the
Blyde
River
Canyon
to arrive in Malelane in the evening where you will
overnight at the beautiful Pestana Kruger Lodge on the

Day 5 – Tuesday: After breakfast we depart for
Mocambique with border formalities at Lebombo / Rosana
Garcia. After a short introductory city tour we stop at
one of
Maputo’s
famed bistro’s for a seafood lunch (own account) before
check in at Maputo airport for the short flight to Inhaca
and the Inhaca Island Resort. O/N PESTANA INHACA

Day 6 – Wednesday: A day for you to fully enjoy
the island and warm Indian Ocean waters. Maybe a trip to
Portuguese Island, a walk to te Marine Biological station,
snorkeling trip or just lazing around the pool. The
village adjacent to the lodge has several quaint
traditional restaurants where one may enjoy more of the
seafood Mocambique is famed for. O/N PESTANA INHACA

Day 7
– Thursday: Another morning to enjoy the island with a
trip to Lighthouse Point or a walk to explore the
mangroves. In the afternoon it’s a short flight to Maputo.
Transfer to the hotel in this exciting city for your last

Day 8
–
Friday: After breakfast transfer to Malelane to connect
with the Bush Buszz luxury shuttle to Johannesburg.
