QUOTATIONS
Requests
for quotations will be actioned and acknowledged
immediately. In
most cases you will receive your quotation within 24
hours. If we
expect a delay, we will advise you accordingly. Unless in
cases where US $ are used such as in Mozambique,
quotations will be given in SA Rand, and will be subject
to change if costs change beyond our control.
DEPOSITS
Normally
a 20% deposit will be required to secure services offered.
NB At
this point, we recommend that you encourage your client to
insure against loss of deposit and cancellation fees that
may be levied by ourselves, or our contracting suppliers.
PAYMENT
Final
payment is due 30 days prior to commencement of services
offered. Please
remit by bank draft, in SA Rand only, made payable to
GARTH McFARLANE TOURS (Pty) LTD. Alternatively payments can be transferred directly into our
bank account number: 330871374, Standard Bank, Hoedspruit
Branch, South Africa.
(Branch code 052752).
All
bank charges are for the remitters account.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations
must always be conveyed to us in writing.
On receiving such notification, part of the deposit
will be forfeited to cover our own costs to that date, and
those of our contractors.
50% of the full price will be forfeited if
cancellation is received 30 to 15 days prior to
commencement of services.
If cancellation is received 14 days or less prior
to departure, we will determine the cancellation fee (up
to 100%) once our expenses have been assessed.
Our decision in this regard is final. Last minute
changes in flight times or airports, pertaining to
transfers, will be charged.
AMENDMENTS
The
lowest possible amendment fee will be levied in the event
of tour changes being instructed by you, your client or
another party. Such fees should be paid prior to
amendments taking effect.
PASSPORTS,
VISA AND HEALTH REGULATIONS
It
will be your client’s responsibility to ensure that
these are in order for entry, multiple entry and return.
We will be pleased to assist and to charge
appropriately for services rendered. Malaria precautions
are recommended and the chosen prophylaxis will be the
sole responsibility of the client after consultation with
their medical practitioner.
RESPONSIBILITY
Neither
Garth McFarlane Tours (Pty) LTD, nor their owners, nor any
agent, supplier or person contracted, shall be liable for
any loss whatsoever, damage to baggage and property,
inconvenience, delay, cancellation, deviation, alteration,
sickness, injury or death whether such a loss be a result
of negligence or not. ‘Acts of God’ and factors beyond
our control (ie Floods, Fires etc.) remain exclusions of
our responsibility.
NB
We strongly encourage your clients to purchase insurance
against such eventualities.
AIRLINE/CARRIER
RESPONSIBILITY
The
passenger’s airline or other carrier’s tickets when
issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the
passenger and the airline or other carrier.
