• Transfers through game viewing areas are known as “Tourfers”. We provide full interpretive services and photographic opportunities. Your client’s safari experience starts and ends in our good hands.

• Meet and greet signs are printed and given to all our tour guides for arrivals at airports.

• Full Mocambique over border cover and registration.

• We confirm our services via fax/e-mail to all lodges/hotels, two days before transfer, to assure them all is in order. In this way the lodge is able to call us if there has been a change in plans for whatever reasons.

• Radio communication between all vehicles and our office. We are in touch all the time!

• We also provide a 10-minute call to the lodge/hotel to prepare them for the arrival of their guests.

• Fixed wing and helicopter backup services and transfers available on request.

The delights of the country of Moçambique have finally been opened up to the international visitor with the introduction of McFARLANE SAFARIS new luxury overland touring services between Maputo and Inhambane and on to Vilanculos. Superb packages can now be designed, to link the many delightful lodges on the Moçambique coast. The service, in luxury mini buses and Sprinters takes place under the expertise of a registered McFarlane guide and includes stops at roadside craft makers, curio sellers and the delightful markets on the coastal road via Xai Xai and Inharrime.

Tours, in conjunction with Charlan Air schedules to Nelspruit (KMIA) and Inhambane, include a night in Maputo and Barra Lodge at Inhambane. The night in Maputo includes a free shuttle service from the hotel to the famous seafood restaurant COSTA DO SOL for dinner. Extensions to the Bazaruto archipelago island lodges or the many others on the coast are also available. These tours are designed to allow you many delightful permutations of flights, lodges and tours.

“BUSH BUSZZ”

This luxury tour departs Centurion at 06h30 to Sandton where it will depart from the Sandton Sun at 07h30 to JIA. At 08h30 the Bush Buszz will leave for the lowveld, complete with on board snacks and refreshments.

At +/- 12h30 Bush Buszz will arrive at the Malelane Gate of the Kruger at Croc Junction, the McFarlane Safari's regional office. Properties which may be packaged with this service include:
